What qualifies?
Orders with a total goods value of ₦30,000 or less qualify for protection against loss while the goods are in the custody of a MarketVillage platform rider assigned through MarketVillage.
Compensation is limited to the verified value of the goods lost. Goods value means the order’s goods subtotal, excluding delivery charges and payment fees.
Please check before booking
Orders with a total goods value above ₦30,000 do not qualify. This is an eligibility threshold for the whole order, not ₦30,000 of protection for a higher-value order.
Merchant-arranged or external-rider deliveries do not qualify for this MarketVillage protection. Check the rider assignment on your order to see whether a MarketVillage platform rider is handling it.
If goods go missing
Contact support@zijela.com with your order reference and details of the missing goods. Keep your receipt and any relevant order messages. We will review the order, rider assignment, custody information and verified value of the missing goods with you.

This is MarketVillage’s delivery-protection commitment, not an insurance policy. Nothing here excludes or limits rights or remedies you have under applicable law, including rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
